1997 Kia Enterprise.jpg

Kia Enterprise (기아 엔터프라이즈) (T3). 1997–2002 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan. F/R, 2494, 2954, 3605 cm³ (V6 DOHC). Mazda Sentia (HE) by any other name, created as a rival to Hyundai Dynasty, Daewoo Arcadia, and the upcoming Ssangyong Chairman (1997–2013). Grille’s slats inspired by traditional Korean windows. The most powerful V6 on offer in Korea on launch, with a maximum speed of 230 km/h. Mid-term changes in 2001 to meet new competition from Hyundai (the Equus) and Ssangyong, but failed; biggest V6 discontinued when it failed to meet new emissions’ regulations. Replaced when new owner Hyundai transferred its Dynasty successor to Kia, and the Opirus took over this market segment.

Manufacturing location: Korea

Marque: Kia | Predecessor: Kia Potentia | Successor: Kia Opirus
