Kia Avella. 1994–9 (prod. n/a). 3-, 4- and 5-door sedan. F/F, 1323, 1498 cm³ (4 cyl. OHC), 1498 cm³ (4 cyl. DOHC). Subcompact car developed by Mazda slotting in above Pride, but sold in most markets as second-generation Ford Festiva or Ford Aspire. Four-door notchback called Avella Delta. Facelift in 1996 for hatchbacks, 1997 for sedan. Built to a price, as with early Kias, though with good fuel economy, visibility and manœuvrability. However, poor performance and unrefined.

Manufacturing location: Korea

Marque: Kia | Predecessor: Ford Festiva Mk I | Successors: Kia Rio (DC), Ford Fiesta Mk V
