Kia Élan.jpg

Kia Élan (M100). 1996–8 (prod. n/a). 2-door convertible. F/F, 1793 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Kia sports car licensed from Lotus—bodywork was essentially identical to its defunct M100 Élan front-drive model. Engine the main difference: Isuzu engine replaced by less powerful 1·8-litre unit, developing 153 PS. Dynamics not as good with this model, considered softer and less responsive. Notable for being the only Korean car listed on Japanese new-car price lists at the time.

Manufacturing location: Korea

Marque: Kia
