Jensen–Healey.jpg

Jensen–Healey. 1972–6 (prod. 10,498). 2-door convertible. F/R, 1973 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Modern Healey roadster with Lotus DOHC engine, the brainchild of Kjell Qvale, who wanted an Austin–Healey 3000 replacement. Engine was untested and proved less than reliable; while the handling needed sorting. Mk II from August 1973, rubber bumpers (primarily for US market) and five-speed gearbox from 1974. Effectively killed by the oil crisis and British industrial action.

Manufacturing location: West Bromwich, West Midlands, England

Marque: Jensen
