2012 Jaguar F-type S.jpg

Jaguar F-type. 2012 to date (prod. n/a). 2-door convertible. F/R, 2995 cm³ (V6 DOHC), 5000 cm³ (V8 DOHC). Jaguar carries on the lineage from the E-type, after decades producing grand tourers. Very light, thanks to extensive use of aluminium, including the subframe and the all-aluminium double-wishbone front and rear suspension. Three engines at launch, developing 340–495 PS. More muscular, with design director Ian Callum expecting it to be a timeless design. Asymmetric, driver-focused interior; controls grouped by function, inspired by fighter planes.

Manufacturing location: Coventry, West Midlands, England

Marque: Jaguar | Predecessor: Jaguar E-type Series III
