Isuzu Bellett Gemini (T-car/PF50). 1974–6 (prod. 768,537 incl. other first-generation Geminis). 4-door sedan, 2-door coupé. F/R, 1584 cm³ (I4 OHC). Replacement for Bellett was part of GM’s T-platform world-car project, related to Opel Kadett C. Lasted two years with this nameplate, before being renamed Isuzu Gemini. Modern small car, more attractive than comparable Toyotas and Nissans of this era. Twinned with Holden Gemini in Australia and Saehan Gemini in Korea, and exported to US as Opel Isuzu for 1976 model year; Buick/Opel for 1977–9.
