Hyundai Élite i20

Hyundai i20 (GB). 2014 to date (prod. n/a). 3- and 5-door sedan. F/F, 1120 cm³ diesel (I3 DOHC), 1248, 1368 cm³ petrol, 1396 cm³ diesel (I4 DOHC). Launched first in India as Élite i20. Styled with Hyundai’s ‘fluidic sculpture 2·0’ language, with a blacked-out C-pillar and a more restrained design. More room, thanks to longer wheelbase; eco-friendly materials in interior. Improved ride and refinement, but at the expense of handling; steering feedback could be better, but much better than compromised first-generation model. A faux off-road version for India dubbed i20 Active.
