Hyundai Tucson (JM/JN81). 2004 to date (prod. n/a). 5-door SUV. F/F, F/A, 1975 cm³ (I4 DOHC), 1991 cm³ diesel (I4 OHC), 2657 cm³ (V6 DOHC). Avante-based crossover, a platform-mate to the Kia Sportage (KM). Reliable, well equipped and roomy, even if styling appeared fairly dumpy. Surprisingly good handling, with good grip. Cancelled in 2009 except in China, where production continued, JM selling alongside newer Tucsons. Facelift in 2013.
