Hyundai Presto (X1). 1985–9 (prod. 545,457). 4-door sedan. F/F, 1298, 1468 cm³ (I4 OHC). Booted version of Pony Excel, and usually sold as Excel or Pony in overseas markets. Attractive Giugiaro styling. Helped Hyundai establish itself strongly in the North American market, but not the best made, with reliability issues emerging shortly afterwards.
