2021 Hyundai Ioniq 5.jpg

Hyundai Ioniq 5 (NE). 2021 to date (prod. n/a). 5-door SUV. R/R, F/R/A, 58, 72·6, 77·4 kWh electric. Much larger than photos suggested, Ioniq 5 was in fact a large crossover despite having the silhouette of a C-segment hatchback. Wheelbase at a whopping 3 m. Hyundai’s first bespoke EV on an all-new platform, with Ioniq now considered a sub-brand for electric cars. Dual-motor AWD versions good for 325 PS. Electric charging with 800 V capacity. Comfortable to drive, and very much appealing to family as well as design-led buyers.

Manufacturing location: Korea

Marque: Hyundai | Model: Hyundai Ioniq

q.v. Kia EV6
