Hyundai Grandeur (TG). 2005–11 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan. F/F, 2199 cm³ diesel, 2359 cm³ petrol (I4 DOHC), 2656, 3342, 3778 cm³ petrol, 2656 cm³ LPG (V6 DOHC). Fourth-generation Grandeur gets swoopy looks, with pronounced haunches over the rear wheel. Based on a stretched Hyundai Sonata (NF) platform. Largest 3·8 initially offered on the home market, later export-only. Diesel also for export only. Mid-term changes 2009, in response to the Kia K7 (VG). Very refined, with low NVH. ABS standard; automatic transmission only on the home market. Independent double wishbone suspension at the front and multi-link at the rear, with good handling, albeit vague steering. Also sold as Azera in some export markets.
