Hyundai Accent (X3)

Hyundai Accent/Dodge Brisa (X3). 1994–9, 2002–5 (prod. n/a). 3-, 4- and 5-door sedan. F/F, 1341, 1495 cm³ (I4 OHC), 1495 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Replacement for Excel, with no reliance on Mitsubishi. Optional ABS and airbag, and good performance. Mid-term Facelift in 1997, with addition of DOHC. No power steering on base models, and prone to rust over time. Replaced by Verna in Korea, though Accent name continued for export. Built in Venezuela as the Dodge Brisa, from 2002 to 2005.
