Traditional roadster with typical Honda virtues of quality and reliability, and considered an excellent driver’s car at the time. Announced in 1998 to commemorate Honda’s 50th anniversary. Powerful, high-revving DOHC VTEC engine. Rigid structure, despite open body. Aluminium bonnet, to save weight. First rear-wheel-drive Honda since the S800. Distinctive digital speedometer. Steering lacked feedback among early models. Mid-term revisions in 2004, with larger wheels, improved handling and responsiveness. Further changes in 2007, remedying the steering feedback.
Marque: Honda | Predecessor: Honda S800
