Honda Fit/Honda Jazz (GE). 2007 to date (prod. 3,500,000 approx. incl. GD to July 2010). 5-door sedan, 5-door wagon. F/F, F/A, 1198, 1339, 1496 cm³ petrol, 1339 cm³ petrol–electric hybrid (I4 OHC). Larger Fit, with more substantial styling evolved from the original. Still exported to some countries as Jazz; complemented by four-door model called City (GM). More spacious; continued to have a very efficient, practical interior, with folding seats. Improved engines. More body roll, thanks to its tall design. Skyroof option, consisting of sunroof and large glass area in roof. Prices kept low thanks to Chinese, Korean and Thai parts, but some negative impact on interior quality. Mid-term facelift 2010, to aid aerodynamics; CVT models have economy mode to aid mileage. Hybrid model introduced 2010. Wagon, dubbed Shuttle, with triangular C-pillar, in production from May 2011, delayed by the northern Japan tsunami. Brazilian range has a Fit Twist model, a raised faux off-roader.
