Honda City ZX.jpg

Honda City/Honda Fit Saloon (GD). 2002–8 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan. F/F, 1246, 1339, 1496 cm³ (I4 OHC). City name transferred to booted version of Fit, rather than as a cheaper version of the Civic. Sold in Japan and China as Fit Aria and Fit Saloon respectively, but City in Thailand, where most came from. Odd styling: looked very much like a Fit hatchback with a boot as an afterthought, but very popular in southeast Asia. Facelift in 2005; the newer model became known as City ZX in some countries, including Thailand. Thai production to 2008; Chinese production (see Fit) to 2009. Spun off the Chinese Everus S1 in 2011.

Manufacturing locations: Ayutthaya, Thailand; Guangzhou, China

Marque: Honda | Model: Honda City | Predecessor: Honda City (3A) | Successor: Honda City (GM)

q.v. Honda Fit (GD)
