Pretty, affordable coupé from Honda, winning the Japanese Car of the Year award not long after launch. An IMA hybrid, with styling apeing both the 1980s CR-X and the original Insight. Excellent six-speed manual transmission available, unusual for a petrol–electric hybrid; direct steering contributed to sporty feel. Fuel consumption as low as 4 l/100 km.
