Honda CR-X (EF6/EF7/EF8). 1987–92 (prod. n/a). 3-door coupé. F/F, 1396, 1493, 1590 cm³ (I4 OHC), 1590, 1595 cm³ (I4 DOHC). CR-X grows up and loses the Ballade tag; based on contemporary Civic. Sold in some markets as Civic CR-X. Improved rear visibility, glass sunroof an option. Double wishbone suspension all round, though still some understeer. Variable valve timing, popularized by Honda, from 1989.
