Honda CR-V (RW1/RW2/RT5/RT6). 2016 to date (prod. n/a). 5-door SUV. F/F, F/A, 1496, 1993, 2354 cm³ petrol, 1598 cm³ diesel, 1993 cm³ petrol–electric hybrid (I4 DOHC). Fifth-generation CR-V, first made in Ohio in 2016 for US market, with Japanese sales not commencing till 2018. More athletic, tougher styling. Related to Honda Civic (2015–) platform-wise, with MacPherson struts at front and multi-link at rear. First hybrid for CR-V line in this generation. Small 1·5 turbo claimed to have the torque of the 2·4. Spacious interior, with decent ride and handling, though geared more for comfort; seven-seat option available. Ground clearance increased by 40 mm over previous AWD model.
