Honda CR-V (RW1/RW2/RT5/RT6). 2016 to date (prod. n/a). 5-door SUV. F/F, F/A, 1496, 1993, 2354 cm³ petrol, 1598 cm³ diesel, 1993 cm³ petrol–electric hybrid (I4 DOHC). Fifth-generation CR-V, first made in Ohio in 2016 for US market, with Japanese sales not commencing till 2018. More athletic, tougher styling. Related to Honda Civic (2015–) platform, with MacPherson struts at front and multi-link at rear. First hybrid for CR-V line in this generation. Small 1·5 turbo claimed to have the torque of the 2·4. Spacious interior, with decent ride and handling, though geared more for comfort; seven-seat option available. Ground clearance increased by 40 mm over previous AWD model.
