Honda Accord Inspire/Honda Inspire (CB5/CC2/CC3). 1989–95 (prod. n/a). 4-door hardtop sedan. F/F, 1996, 2451 cm³ (I5 OHC). Honda went for a voluminous look, with short front overhangs and a four-door hardtop configuration, rivalling the Toyota Cresta (X80). New inline five-cylinder engines. In two widths, depending on engine: 1,695 mm for two-litre; 1,780 mm for 2·5. Mid-term change saw the disappearance of Accord tag. Despite Accord name, actually on a Honda Legend platform.
