F/F, 1590, 1850, 1997 cm³ petrol, 1994 cm³ diesel (4 cyl. SOHC), 2157 cm³ (4 cyl. DO...) Honda Accord. 1998–2003 (prod. unknown). 4- and 5-door saloon. F/F, 1590, 1850, 1997 cm³ petrol, 1994 cm³ diesel (4 cyl. SOHC), 2157 cm³ (4 cyl. DOHC). German-designed, British-built (at Swindon) European-market Accord was supposed to be the perfect car to for Honda to take on premium mid-sizers such as Audi A4. As a gamble, it didn’t really work, with this generation forgotten apart from Type R model. Conventional, conservative sedan and hatchback (coupé was US model, imported), wider than Japanese model and narrower than American one; and shorter than both. Rover turbodiesel option.
Marque: Honda | Model: Honda Accord | Predecessor: Honda Ascot Innova | Successor: Honda Accord (2002–8)
