German-designed, British-built (at Swindon) European-market Accord was supposed to be the perfect car to for Honda to take on premium mid-sizers such as Audi A4. As a gamble, it didn’t really work, with this generation forgotten apart from Type R model. Same suspension as other Accords of this generation.
