Holden Torana (HB). 1967–9 (prod. 36,561). 2- and 4-door sedan. F/R, 1159 cm³ (I4 OHV). Australian-built version of Vauxhall Viva (HB), replacing HA Viva. Originally with imported bodies and assembled in Australia. Uprated optional engine (69 bhp, rather than the standard 56 bhp) for 1968, including sports model. Final ’69s from September 1968 saw locally made bodies, plus four-door sedan developed in Australia, with consequent changes shared with full-sized Holdens.
