Holden Sunbird (LX). 1976–8 (prod. 16,075). 4-door sedan, 3-door coupé. F/R, 1897 cm³ (I4 CIH). Holden spun off the Torana four-cylinders into their own line, called Sunbird. Some cosmetic differences to Torana. Radial Tuned Suspension to improve the handling from 1977. Not that roomy as with LH; changes were to accommodate emissions’ regulations introduced under Australian Design Rules.
