F/R, 3310 cm³ (I6 OHV), 4142, 5044 cm³ (V8 OHV). Modern, squarer styling up front from late 1974, with factory spoilers front and rear, and higher compression for the 308 in³, as the 350 was no longer available. Four-door had the new rear end as with all HJs, but, ominously, the two-door retained the HQ’s rear—signalling the beginning of the end of that shape.
Marque: Holden | Model: Holden Monaro | Predecessor: Holden Monaro (HQ) | Successor: Holden Monaro (HX)
