Holden Kingswood (HG). 1970–1 (prod. 155,787 all HG). 4-door sedan, 5-door wagon, 2-door utility. F/R, 186 in³, 3185, 3768, 4097 cm³ (I6 OHV), 253, 308 in³ (V8 OHV). Late July 1970 introduction of HG saw demise of 161 in³ six for this line. Vertical bar on grille denoted HGs. Australian-built Tri-matic automatic transmission introduced. Otherwise, most changes cosmetic. Chevrolet engines for models assembled in South Africa (3·2, 3·8 and 4·1, or 194, 230 and 250 in³).
