Holden Commodore/Holden Berlina (VZ). 2004–7 (prod. unknown). 4-door sedan, 5-door wagon, 2-door utility. F/R, 3565 cm³ (V6 DOHC), 5665, 5967 cm³ (V8 OHV). Evolutionary facelift for VY, with larger Holden badge, reshaped bumper giving grille more prominence, and engineering upgrades. Big news was the introduction of the Alloytec V6 DOHC engine, made in Melbourne, for 2004. V8s as before, but 2006 saw the introduction of larger unit, available for SV8, SS and Berlina upgrade. Limited-edition SVZ models in 2006, and again to see out the final 2007 models on this platform.
