Holden Commodore/Holden Berlina (VY). 2002–4 (prod. unknown). 4-door sedan, 5-door wagon, 2-door utility. F/R, 3791 cm³ (V6 OHV), 5665 cm³ (V8 OHV). First major facelift for VT-platform models, with sharper front and rear ends. VY II from 2003. Addition of Lumina trim level as well as Silver Anniversary models in 2003, commemorating 25 years of Holden Commodores. Equipe was a limited-edition VY, with extra standard equipment. Berlina gained International Wagon model during for 2002–3 for original VY. Much better handling, steering, safety and power (V8 now producing 245 kW, and all engines revised for emissions’ requirements), and build quality improved. Standard cruise control and front power windows throughout range. Performance S, SV8 and SS models.
