Facelifted version of the 3, with bigger (some might say Buick-like) grille and more powerful 1·6 (from 71 to 88 kW), replacing both that model and the original Mazda Familia (BJ) clone. Hatchback called Family VS. Much the same under the skin, with good safety kit and economical engine.
