Gleagle GX7/Geely (吉利) GX7. 2012 to date (prod. n/a). 5-door SUV. F/F, 1792, 1997, 2378 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Geely’s first SUV, achieving five stars in C-NCAP tests, but average in most dynamic respects. ItalDesign styling. Well equipped only on high-line models. Not as strong a performer as Haval H6 or as good a handler as GAC Trumpchi GS5, but the best ride among Chinese SUVs in this segment. Mostly on a par with the BYD S6. Twinned with Englon SX7, and badge-engineered for export as Geely Emgrand X7. Became the Geely GX7 on the home market in 2014.
