Geely King Kong (吉利金剛/吉利金刚)/Englon King Kong (英伦金剛/英伦金刚) (JL7132U/JL7152U/JL7162U/JL7182U/JL7132B1U1/JL7152B1U1). 2006 to date (prod. n/a). 4- and 5-door sedan. F/F, 1342, 1498, 1587, 1794 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Inoffensive sedan range, badged MK in some export markets. Hatchback called MK2 for export. Toyota Vios (NCP42) platform. Sold to a price in export markets, with interior below par, though ride acceptable. Fairly spacious boot for four-door sedan. Upgraded to King Kong 2 with new grille featuring horizontal chrome bars in 2009, while, confusingly, basic King Kongs bore Englon logo from 2010, and complemented by Englon SC6, a badge-engineered version of the King Kong 2 with a higher base price, but roughly the same pricing at the top of the range. With Englon phased out, the higher-end Englon Jinyings were brought back into the King Kong range in 2014, with the five-door dubbed Geely King Kong Cross. Four-door sedan facelifted in 2016.
