Geely Borui (吉利博瑞). 2015 to date (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan. F/F, 1799, 2378 cm³ (I4 DOHC), 3456 cm³ (V6 DOHC). First Geely styled under the supervision of Peter Horbury, who had come via its Volvo subsidiary, and meant to establish a new design language for the brand. V6 among the engine options, placing Borui—or EC9 on export—at the top of the Geely brand; 2·4 at base, 1·8 direct injection turbo generated an extra 1 PS, delivering 163 PS. Smart fastback styling. Quality supposedly up from previous Geelys as the company learned from Volvo. Features included parking assist, lane-departure warning and other active safety systems.
