GAZ Volga Siber (ГАЗ Волга Сайбер) (JR). 2008–10 (prod. 9,000 approx.). 4-door sedan. F/F, 1996, 2429 cm³ (4 cyl. DOHC). Facelifted and reworked Chrysler Sebring (2001–6), with tooling bought by GAZ and shipped to Russia. Engines sourced from Chrysler in México. Magna International helped install lines and training for workers. UltraMotive worked on the styling, adapting it from the Chrysler original. Greater ground clearance than original, for Russia’s harsher roads. Recession meant the Siber never sold near its projections of 40,000 per annum and the plug was pulled in 2010.

Manufacturing location: Nizhny Novgorod, Russia

Marque: GAZ | Predecessor: GAZ 3102 Volga
