GAZ M72. 1955–8 (prod. 4,677). 4-door saloon. F/A, 2112 cm³ (I4 SV). Four-wheel-drive version of the GAZ M-20 ‘Pobeda’. An early mass-produced monocoque with all-wheel drive, conceived by Vitaly Grachev. Pobeda body, with strengthening, and transmission, interior and trim identical. However, there was a GAZ 69 front axle, leaf springs and transfer case, with a unique rear axle.
