Ford Zodiac Mk IV. 1966–72 (prod. 48,846). 4-door saloon, 5-door estate. F/R, 2994 cm³ (V6 OHV). Big, soft Ford, with odd proportions, taking over from successful Mk III. Not a success, perhaps due to styling or too-large size for British buyers. Generous equipment levels, reclining seats. Advanced for its time with disc brakes, all independent suspension. Estates converted by E. D. Abbott Ltd. of Farnham but had official factory support.
