Ford Windstar (VN126). 1999–2003 (prod. n/a). 5-door MPV. F/F, 2986, 3797 cm³ (V6 OHV). Fully revised Windstar, now with rear sliding doors on both sides, triumphing on its safety features, which included side airbags and sonar reversing warning system. Second- and third-row seats on rollers for shifting, new instrument panel. Plenty of features, improved suspension and transmission. Noisy V6 (and not that reliable); soft ride; and legroom not that great for second and third rows. Stability control for 2003.
