1971 Ford Ranch Wagon.jpg

Ford Ranch Wagon. 1969–71 (prod. n/a). 5-door wagon. F/R, 302, 351, 390, 400, 429 in³ (V8 OHV). Curiously, while Ford merged the Country Squire line with the LTD one, and the model immediately above the Ranch Wagon with Custom, the base Ranch Wagon remained on its own in promotional literature for 1969–71. This was the most basic full-size Ford wagon, although the six that could be found in the base Custom was not available. Same remarks as with other models: big, soft and inefficient, even if the reliability was better than the US average.

Manufacturing location: USA

Marque: Ford | Model: Ford Ranch Wagon | Predecessor: Ford Ranch Wagon (1965–8) | Successor: Ford Custom (1969–72)

q.v. Ford Country Sedan (1969–72), Ford LTD (1969–72), Ford XL (1969–70), Ford Galaxie 500 (1969–72)
