Ford LTD (FB)

Ford LTD (FB/P6). 1976–9 (prod. 5,896). 4-door sedan. F/R, 5766 cm³ (V8 OHV). Substantial facelift for P5, now with Rolls-Royce pastiche grille, the sort of thing Lincoln was doing in the US. Lincoln names, too, with a limited-edition (400) run in 1979 of the LTD Town Car. Handling Option saw heavy-duty shock absorbers and better brakes. Luxurious interior including unique dashboard. Some mechanical changes, with better handling, but power and torque down from P5.
