Ford Focus (C307). 2004–14 (prod. n/a). 3-, 4- and 5-door saloon, 5-door estate, 5-door MPV, 2-door coupé–cabriolet. F/F, 1388, 1596, 1798, 1999 cm³ petrol, 1560, 1997 cm³ diesel (I4 DOHC), 2521 cm³ (I5 DOHC). Another class leader for Ford, cementing the best qualities of C170 predecessor. Class-leading handling, practical design. Lower-spec models noisier, thanks to tyre roar. Wide range from basic saloons to ST and RS performance models. C-Max minivan eventually spun off on to its own line after 2007. Revised for 2008 model year with Ford Mondeo Mk IV-like front and resculpted rear for most models, improved equipment and better assembly, though mostly mechanically identical. Coupé–cabriolet only has new front for 2008. Production ceased worldwide (except for China) in 2013; the C307 soldiered on there as Focus Classic, a name it adopted in 2012.
