Blink-and-you’ll-miss-it facelift, with blue oval shifted down to “letterbox slot” in grille, and strakes on C-pillar on sedan omitted, resulting in cleaner appearance. Return of the V8 for the first time in eight years, this time shared with the Mustang. Improved suspension. Optional anti-lock brakes from 1992; 3·9 six enlarged to 4·0, with multi-point fuel injection, and 3·2 deleted.
