Posh Falcon, replacing the Futura and Squire months in to the XP’s run. The name change was never explained, other than Fairmont having researched well among consumers as sounding upmarket. Largest six as standard, padded dashboard, full carpeting, more interior lighting, sound-deadening materials, and Fordomatic auto gearbox.
Marque: Ford | Model: Ford Fairmont | Predecessor: Ford Falcon (XP) | Successor: Ford Fairmont (XR)
