Ford Fairmont (EA77). 1994–6 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan, 5-door wagon. F/R, 3984 cm³ (I6 OHC), 4942 cm³ (V8 OHV). As usual, a plusher Falcon, but with the EA77 facelift, there was greater differentiation externally, as Fairmont gained a grille instead of the Falcon’s plainer face. Revisions with EF II from October 1995, with improved rear suspension and the XR6’s more powerful six-cylinder engine.
