Ford Fairlane (EA26). 1991–5 (prod. 14,209). 4-door sedan. F/R, 3949, 3984 cm³ (6 cyl. OHC), 4942 cm³ (V8 OHV). Very subtle changes from NA, identified through trim, though return of V8 meant a new model code. Six-cylinder grew to four litres in 1992, for Series II, with more refinement and 148 kW. Better equipment, with anti-theft system later that year. Ghia had even more standard equipment, though below LTD. Simple vehicles, and not that refined with more noise than one would expect, despite luxury pretensions.
