Ford Fairlane (EA169). 2005–7 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan. F/R, 3984 cm³ (I6 DOHC), 5408 cm³ (V8 OHC). Last Fairlane, essentially a stretched BF Falcon and sharing the same model code. Improvements in emissions and power from BA, and new six-speed automatic, but to the layman the more formal Ghia badges are the main change. Sales-wise, behind the Holden Statesman, and with no left-hand-drive export programme and dropping customer base, Ford did not develop a replacement.
