Ford Expedition (U324/U354). 2007 to date (prod. over 210,000). 5-door SUV, 5-door LWB SUV. F/A, 5408 cm³ (V8 OHC). Full-size truck for US market, based on a heavily revised U222 platform. Expedition EL denoted long-wheelbase model, developed under U354 code. More refinement (though still some wind noise) and power, with V8 now developing 314 PS. Some plastics not the best, even on luxury models. Engine can run on E85 ethanol-blended fuel. Poor fuel economy, in the low 10s (mpg). Fairly good handling given the massive size. Related to Lincoln Navigator (U326).
