Ford Del Rey. 1981–91 (prod. n/a). 2- and 4-door sedan, 3-door wagon. F/F, 1555 cm³ (I4 OHV), 1781 cm³ (I4 OHC). Update of Corcel II, in turn based around a Renault design. More modern styling, in keeping with Ford design themes around this time, especially for Taunus 80, being built in neighbouring Argentina. Lots of standard equipment for the time, including alloy wheels and power windows. Wagon, absorbed from Corcel range, dubbed Scala. Mid-term facelift for 1985, with downmarket model in 1987 to fill the gap left by the deleted Corcel. Autolatina alliance saw Volkswagen Santana (B2) 1·8 engine used, boosting power output.

Manufacturing location: Brazil

Marque: Ford | Predecessor: Ford Corcel II | Successor: Ford Versailles (1991–6)
