Ford Corsair (UA). 1989–92 (prod. unknown). 4- and 5-door sedan. F/F, 1974, 2389 cm³ (4 cyl. OHC). Ford version of Nissan Pintara (U12), with new front and rear ends, reviving Ford of Britain name from the 1960s. Nissan engines and made by Nissan Australia at its Clayton plant, as part of the model-sharing plan imposed by the Australian government. Dull and not particularly successful. Outsold by Pintara, and eventually killed off when Nissan Australia closed its doors after taking one gamble too many. Sold alongside Ford Telstar TX5 (GD series).

Manufacturing location: Clayton, Victoria, Australia

Marque: Ford | Model: Ford Corsair | Predecessor: Ford Telstar (GD) | Successor: Ford Telstar (GE)
