Ford Corcel/Ford Belina. 1968–77 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan, 2-door coupé, 3-door wagon. F/F, 1289, 1372 cm³ (I4 OHV). Upon taking control of Willys Overland do Brasil, Ford inherited the M project, which spawned the Renault 12 in France. The Corcel was related to the 12 except with a different body, launched originally as a four-door, then a coupé the following year. GT from 1969; 1·4 from 1971, with 85 PS. Some changes in 1973, to bring the car in line with the Ford Maverick (1970–9), which commenced production in Brazil that year. GTXP from 1973, again with 1·4. Another refresh in 1975, with luxury model LDO added. Estate called Ford Belina.
