Ford Anglia 105E/Ford Anglia Super 123E. 1959–67 (prod. 1,004,737 for 105E, 79,223 for 123E). 2-door saloon, 3-door estate. F/R, 997, 1198 cm³ (4 cyl. OHV). All-new Anglia for 1959, including new Kent OHV engine and four-speed gearbox. Anglia Super (123E) from 1962 with bored-out engine. Unusual appearance, with reverse-rake rear window, apeing Lincolns and Mercurys in the US. Estate from 1961, replacing Escort. Easy to drive and practical in its day, helped by the new gearbox. Basis of Ford Anglia Torino.
