Fiat Uno

Fiat’s Uno was a modern, stylish and, some might even say, ground-breaking supermini in 1983, when it was launched opposite its rival, the Peugeot 205. But the Fiat would have a far longer history, built on four continents, and continue in to the 21st century. Originally styled by ItalDesign around a tall packaging idea. As the car fell behind, it became an entry-level model, especially in Brazil, where it was renamed the Mille in the mid-1990s. The 2011 Uno, launched in May 2010, is unashamedly entry-level, looking not unlike some Fiat modular concepts of the late 1970s and early 1980s, based around the idea of the square.
